the house is quiet and dark, the husband off to work, the baby safely asleep in his crib. A single candle flickers illuminating the tub filled with steamingly hot, lightly scented, luxuriously bubbled, tantalizingly inviting water. The light scent of roses and vanilla tingles my senses. I pin up my hair, and slip into the relaxing, inviting bath. I lay back, letting my eyes drift shut and sighing in pure unadulterated bliss. Then I hear IT. A giggle. A small "tee-hee". A gurgle of delight. I sigh again, but now for a different reason. HE is probably asleep and just dreaming fantastical dreams, but I have to look. I creep ever so quietly into the nursery. What do I find? I find Indy, wide awake, both feet planted firmly on the rails of his crib. A giant smile on his face as he giggles at his toes. I let out a giggle of my own, and went for the camera. Thus ends another attempt at mamma's private tub time. We turned on the light, let out the steamy water, dug out the ducky, refilled the tub and Indy got to take a bath with his mommy.

No alone time for the momma. But seriously, you probably enjoyed the bath with your son more than taking it alone. What fun!
The best laid plans of mice and moms.
Ha! Too funny. Guess who I can hear making little squawking noises as I type this? My own little crib tyrant. And yes, I had been hoping to have a bath during this naptime, too.
What away to start the day.The sounds of pitty -patty toes .are those mine .
