lots and lots o' updates:

So, here the pictures... commentary at the end

Indy is all potty trained... Cheer!

Duck is all officially a high school-er now... where did the time go!?!

Duck got a new puppy named Barbosa... he's a menace (the dog not the boy).

Nate got a new truck... we try not to let him drive it.

Nicole and John threw Indiana into the Pacific Ocean... he didn't drown.

Indy has a new girlfriend... the little neighbor girl Rosa.

Indy has a buddy, Daniel... As long as Daniel stays away from Rosa, it's all smiles.

Duck has friends... not sure how that happened.

Oh, and John's home now... sigh, nothing interesting to that.

Nicole might come live with us... cross your fingers!

We might be moving this coming weekend... hold on for more updates.

the return...

So, i apologize for not posting recently. we had some computer type issues and i couldn't get online for a few weeks. So, lots happening... my mom had a birthday, Duck graduated from the 8th grade and is an official high school-er now, Indy is potty training with a vengeance (we haven't had a day-time accident at home in over a week), Chris is loving the new job at Lowe's distribution warehouse, life is good.

anyhow, this post is just a quick note to say we are OK, and that i have a lot of pictures i need to clean up and post later on today or tomorrow. hope to see you all again very soon!

i just dont know...

It seems like the days do get away from us. We don't actually "DO" a lot, but we are busy all day. Playing outside, watching Blue's Clues, eating our breakfasts and lunches and snacks; running around and around until we fall down, it seems the clock moves faster than we realize.

Little boys grow up so very fast. The days of bottles and naps seem far away. Potty training and counting, the alphabet and friends are now the order of our days, these days.

He wont be little for ever, and I am just enjoying every moment of the time i have left. Seeing the world from a toddlers level is a great gift.

heating up!

As summer comes on, it begins to heat up in our valley. Thankfully today should only touch the high 60s, but last week heat was running in the mid to high 80's. For me, that means the air conditioner runs all day long and i struggle not to sun burn. For Indy, it means wading pools, swimming suits, ice cream, and the great outdoors! Indy has the better end of the summertime deal!
