Psssst... What's under there, Brother?

Dakota came by and picked up his ornament today, that my dad and his wife (grandma and grandpa wood) had sent. Then the two boys spent some time leaning over the back of the couch investigating what is under the tree. Big Brother Duck played nicely with Indiana and his toys for a while before they headed home.
I love having Ducky visit. He started his Christmas break from school today, so perhaps he will see more of him for a few weeks.

8 days to Christmas!

Hello, Michele sent me. How exciting to be counting the days to a child's first Christmas. Here's hoping he loves the presents as well as the boxes in which they come.

We have no more ornaments in the lower one-third of our tree. It's getting to be a battle.

8 days? Really? Jeez.

Here via Michele tonight.

Dakota and Indiana--I love those names!

I used to have a toy chest in my room when I was a child. Sometimes when I was looking for something to play with, I'd empty out the whole chest.

Good day Grandsons!
We love this picture of the two of you looking at the tree and all of those presents!!! Wonder what was going through your minds???????? Bet we could take a pretty good guess! Indy is sure growing!!!

Dakota; we are glad you liked the Oregon Duck ornament. Do you have the previous ones? We could not find out if they changed yearly. It is too bad they do not make them to light up, huh? By any chance is that a Oregon Duck coat and sweats you have on? GO DUCKS!!!!
We send Christmas blessings, love and hugs to both, you and Indy! Have FUN on your Christmas break, Dakota! MERRY CHRISTMAS from Grandma and Grandpa Wood and THE UNCLES; Jacob, Weston and Michael.

Mindi and Chris;
What a keen idea to box the tree in the corner. Although, it does not look like it is going to last too long!! Looks like Indy just might put those new PJ's on and fly right over that couch! Love the popcorn on the trees! We used to do that. We stopped when Michael used to get up in the middle of the night and EAT IT ALL!! We tease him now about that. What is funny;he said,"I might just still do that". So, guess we will leave it off for now. We like the blue and red bulbs. Hope you all enjoyed the ornaments and pictures we sent. It was Jacob, Weston's and Michael's idea to dedicate the family room TOYLAND THEME, to their new nephew and our new grandson. Wish you were all here to see it.
Love Dad, Wanda(G&G)the bro's and The Uncles
