Twenty-Five years ago today, I cried along with the entire world as we said good-bye to one of the most influential musicians who ever lived. He tried to change the world with his music, and his voice. He spoke up, and spoke out. He was the driving force behind the culture of a generation. He spoke to the youth of England, of America, of the world with his message of peace. We still haven't learned the lesson he tried to teach us.9 October 1940 -
