Greetings Santa!

Indiana got to meet Santa Claus for the first time today. Indy was enthralled with Santa, and sat happily on his lap. He even babbled a little list of things he wanted for Christmas. We fervently hope Santa is fluent in baby talk, as all Indy really said was "DA da DA Da dA Ge gegege Ga Dada". He and Santa gazed happily at one another for a few minutes, daddy stood proudly by, and mama snapped pictures as rapidly as the old digital camera would permit.

Wow, congratualtions on having such a clever baby - mine all cried their eyes out at Santa!

Although eventually LMB was persuaded to ask him for something - she wanted the lollipops he had planted all round his grotto:-)

Why is it Santas don't seem to know how to hold children? Poor little Indie is almost twisted double trying to see the nice cuddly man.

But I'm glad he enjoyed his first visit with The Big Man :-)

I wonder if Indy thought his grandma and grandpa's giant talking Santa came to life, ha, ha!
Donnie had not seen Indy in so long he could't believe how he had grown. I know he was amazed because he mentioned it all of 10 times after you visited the other day. He (and you won't believe this) looked up on the computer, that very evening, what babies should normally be doing at any given age and he was shocked and I think a little proud, too; that Indy was doing everything much before the average baby does!!ROFL!

Too cute. I'm so glad he got to schmooze with the Big Guy. Too many kids are just intimidated and cry. (But those are pictures I'd keep, too!)

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun!

And that Indy - he's a smart one. He knows who's hoarding the candy canes! LOL!

Indy's frank and fearless curiosity is pretty impressive! I cried every time I saw Santa until I was twelve.

Michele told me to come here, but I forgot the secret code...

Wow, your little Indiana is such a beautiful kid!! I especially love the photo of him with the sunglasses on!! Adorable.

Don't most kids cry when they sit on Santa's lap?? He's kind of a scary looking person, dressed in red and all. Seems like your little buddy did just fine!

Have fun!

I've seen so many photos where the poor kids are terrified of Santa. It's nice to see one like this.
