Chronicles of Narnia

I borrowed this picture from fellow blogger Movie Bob to SHOUT out that my sister in law and I went and saw Narnia at the midnight showing. The theatre was packed, and no one was disappointed. It was wonderful. Indy and his daddy stayed home, and tomorrow Grandma Donkey will take Chris to the movie while I stay home with Indy. Its fair, but it means I cant talk about the movie until tomorrow. No spoiler from me, other than, if you were considering going.... GO!

I'd like to see this too. I'm curious to know how closely the movie follows the books. Have you read them?

Is this the one about when the mouse pulled the sticky nettle from the donkey's foot and got to meet the cowardly lion? I've seen that.

I read that whole series when I was a kid and felt duped when I found the whole thing to be religious allegory.

It looks like an awesome film, though. I'm putting it on the list.

Nice to meet you. Here from Michele's.

I am curious about the movie. I have only read The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe but not the other books. We will probably rent it when it comes out. Don't get to the movies very often.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Prego, don't feel bad. Wizard of Oz was about government and industry. Ruined it for me for about a year. Once I got past that, it was one of my faves.
