My dear friend is returning home in just a few hours. He fit so seamlessly back into my life it was as if five long years hadn't lain between us; as if life experiences so vastly different had created in us the same friendship we wore as young people.My current hope for all of you reading my words is this:
I hope that all of you can know a friendship so dear, that the pain of loving that person is worth every single tear.

I do know a friendship that dear...And it's weird that we have been so quiet towards each other...I miss you.
I had such a great time visiting with you and your family, I'm not sure I have the words to describe it. Getting a new beginning for our friendship is a very special gift. I miss you already (as well as my new son! :D )
