Snow began falling all across western Oregon a few days ago. We then had a cold snap where the high temperature never edged above the freezing mark. This morning, the snow began to fall heavily throughout the Portland metro area, and here in the Valley, freezing rain slowed our fair town to a crawl. There is no school, many businesses did not open, and Indy's dad went to work to find that fully half the crew couldn't make it safely to work this morning. Thankfully things are thawing a bit, as the temperature climbed to a balmy 37 degrees Fahrenheit.
Indy sees the doctor today to check out this pesky cold that has been clinging to him for the last two weeks. I am sure it's nothing, probably just the weather, but better safe than sorry.

We've had a warm winter thus far, but we're beginning to get some cold air coming in from the midwest. It is going to be season-like for about a week or more. I miss that warm weather. As to closing, I think it would take a category 6 snow storm to actually close down NYC. Heaven knows, we've had to go to work in several feet of snow.
hmmmmmm it's abour 80 degrees here remind me to send ya'll some sunshine Love Ya Kathryn
Hard to fathom that kind of desperately cold weather...! I could not take that anymore, at all! Hope Indy can get rid of that horrid cold!
