Macy Day!

I just fell in love with this picture.

Indiana went off with cousin Macy today. She took him to McDonald's for a couple hours of food, frolic and friends. They then went to the duck pond where Indy indulged in his favorite past-time... fattening up the local ducks. With Chris off in Portland and Indy off with Macy, i enjoyed a quiet afternoon of book reading, an outing to lunch at the local Chinese place, and some relaxing time all alone. I LOVE days off!

Our good friend John had a birthday, our neighbor girl Marta had a baby, Duck had a touching cuddle with his brother after the play (as Macy chased them away from the stage), Nicole chased Indy around the neighborhood, and Indy had an intimate moment with an angel...

The weather has improved so much that we are spending a lot of time running around outside. We have been playing in the park, feeding the ducks, visiting grandma and grandpa, and spending some time at Duck's house. Aunt Duecie had a birthday. We also said a sad goodbye to Duck's papa, who passed away over the weekend.

Life continues along.

Spuds Au Gratin

Duck's school play was today! We had a great time wathing it with Chris, John, Nicole, Indy, Macy and the aunts... even Randy appeared. Duck played a game show host (named Spuds Au Gratin) and also a native in a dress!!

The dress was hilarious! I didn't get a good shot of it during the play, so he humored me and let me take one backstage afterwards. During the play, our intrepid actor showed his spirit... you could see the bright yellow Oregon "O" flashing under his skirt

I've be rather remiss...

I have been busy with a multitude of other things lately, so Indy's blog has been suffering; sadly neglected. So, to remedy that, here are a few recent pictures so we can all get our "Indy fix".

Indy in the tree...

Indy posed in our favorite picture taking tree. We have been taking pictures of kids and pets and family etc in this tree for many years. Go figure i have no pictures at all of my friends with it. hmmmm.

a day at the park...

Some days it is just nice to get out and walk around our town. We do this every few weeks. Fortunately for us there is a park very nearby which is home to a wonderful lake with lots of fish and ducks and birds and geese and flowers and benches and a great trail all around the water.


Today we went off for our walk, wandering to Costco to get hot dogs. We ate a quick lunch then crossed over to the park to feed the ducks a loaf of bread. Indy ran back and forth between the waters edge and the loaf of bread shouting "more bread for the duckies!"


Indy hammed it up in the flowers so i could get a couple fun pictures. He is growing up so quickly, before we know it he will be off to school. Seems like just the other day Duck was small like this and posing in the flowers at my mom's house.

He did it! We went potty in the big boy potty all on our own!! (well mostly)

i took a picture, but on reviewing it noticed how dirty my bathroom is so i wont be posting it. I will of course now be cleaning my bathroom so i can post the next one!

One day Indy will probably be glad our bathroom was a mess... so his potty pictures didn't make it online. HAHA.

Elmo Bubbles...

One of the many wonderful gifts Indy received for his birthday was an Elmo Bubble blower. He loves it!

We set it on the window sill, fill it up with liquid bubbles, turn it on... Indy will dance and chase bubbles for hours.
